KiezKucker
by
In this work that moves beyond traditional memoir, Anastasia chronicles 20 years of travels in and out of the US to find herself. She assumes an observer state, “KiezKucker,” in a second person perspective, but not without switching back to that which is being observed “I” at times. This is a choose-your-own-adventure work of autofiction.
Anastasia shows, by sharing the internal processes of following the call of the road, the power of travel to challenge, support, and eventually transform one’s cultural identity and personality.
